The final Gallic games are posted at the blog.

This concludes the test series as the project swings to a painting task, the Seleucid.

I have cleaned and undercoated 36 elements; cataphract, pike, auxilia, elephants and scythed chariots and I am eager to finish these as the consular army would love to take them on.

Cheers,
Robert

The consular army may regret getting their wish. :)

Thanks Timurilank,

It's always great to see a project get wings. Where next for you I wonder?

@mghFond,

True, Rome did beat the Seleucid at Magnesia 190 BC, but that is no guarantee it can be duplicated on the table.

@Kropotkin303,

After painting the Seleucid, I plan similar test games with Rome against Carthage and the Seleucid.

Following those games I will return to Spain during the 2nd Punic War (217 BC), so Rome will have to land an army and start their campaign against Carthage.

This will help refine the campaign rule set.
