Growing up watching Westerns in the 50s I remember more than one where the Bad Guy rode into town and you got the message right off he was Pure Evil because he kicked a kid and shot a dog. I cannot remember the actor but he was a "B" Western Bad Guy in many movies as well as TV. I remember one where a kid ran up to him as he rode into town and he kicked the boy aside and then shot the dog barking at him. |

Yes, the villain can shoot 50 people and we just sit there but have him kill a dog and you here the whole audience go AAAAAhhh. |
