Remember these little guys? link Well WDM have included a set of six, 28mm troopers as an add-on to their latest Sci-fi Dogfighting Tabletop Wargame Kickstarter campaign and Alan has sent me a couple of squad.s IMHO they are excellent! They haven't just been up-scaled from 15mm but totally redesigned for 28mm and I have to say the level of detail is outstanding. You can follow the full WIP on the blog dwartist.blogspot.co.uk but here's a couple of pics…and they fit really well with WDM's 15mm mecha too!

Very nice figures, good for just about any setting. But, they need a head option or two, those are too boxy looking for my taste. |

John, these are 28mm versions of 15mm miniatures made by White Dragon Miniatures… They're already available. |

Looking at White Dragon's website, it doesn't appear these are available for sale there? Are they only offered through the Kickstarter? |

Man, I *hate* tactical rocks with a burning passion. Almost all of my Infinity minis have had their Tactical Rocks removed. It helps that I use Antenociti's urban bases, so I have a lot of models stepping up on a curb. I still want these minis, though. |

God Prodos do some amazing work (its just a shame their logistics train isn't as up to snuff as their casting) and White Dragon produce some excellent sculpts. It is kind of strange to me that this sort of near future scifi aesthetic is so under represented models-wise when recent films and video games are full of infantry just like these ones |

…and just about finished! I still have to paint the triangular area on the shoulder pads but haven't decided as what yet. Base (or diorama to follow).

Not a great week for painting but managed to start another two of the squad…
and look what the next stretch goal brings – an opportunity to buy a squad of the 'Talos' power-suit in 28mm! (15mm below)
