I have been slowly working on these. Very nice figures – lots of variety and character. I would put them on the smaller end of the 15mm spectrum, especially the horses. Possibly their best figures (though the Skythians are in contention) in the original release. The figures which have been done for the new KS also include some goodies – the Franks are very good. |

My regular ancient opponent brought over his War & Empire and Xyston figures last Tuesday to compare with my Old Glory. War & Empire would match well with Essex infantry, but not their cavalry. As noted by Swampster, W&E horses would not match well with Essex long legged mounts. In general W&E figures are slightly smaller and slender compared to Old Glory. My Early Germans are Blue Moon and though slender figures they are closer to 18mm. link If you send me an email note to timurilank (at) aol (dot) com with 15mm Early German in the subject line I can send you two photos of Xyston, W&E and Old Glory cavalry and foot.
