Hello Gang Just home to California from HCon. Great time with Brew and the Gang. Here is the link to pics on my Flickr page link Doug Fisher ran two excellent battles and I believe is going to get a Wargames Illustrated write up on his Siege of Mai Dun . Good stuff Doug. Let me know what you think of the pics Clif |

The pics look great. It is always nice to come back from the show and look at all the games I don't get the chance to see while I'm there. I spend a good bit of time each night wandering around the gaming areas but don't often get the chance to see things there during the day. |

Thanks Clif, I enjoyed going through those. Some great looking tables, what was the game with the tall ships on the beach, with a ship under construction on the beach? Chris |

Great pics, Clif! Agree with Pictors 100%! You even got a few of mine in there, the WW1 Blue Max 1/144th Air Game! When you put on games you just can't get around to see the others, so thank you very much! Peter board2deathterrain.com |

Boy wundyr, The game you referenced was "Grape Shot on the Chesapeake, with a Hint of Garlic." I think it was a "what if" scenario, involving a British and Canadian assault on a shipyard on Maryland's Easter Shore where a US sloop was being re-fit. The US defenders were supported by a French force. I didn't see much of the game being played, but the figures, ships and terrain looked fantastic! |

Thanks Ember, it certainly caught my eye amongst all the other good looking games in the photos. |

Nice pictures, thanks for posting. Looks like some really great games with nice terrain. Sadly some are so covered up with gaming debris it is hard to tell sometimes. |

Just went through the reports Bosco, looks better seeing some of the details; I was thinking it might be a Sharp Practice sized game but it was much larger than that! |

The grapeshot of the chesapeake game used a modified version of Longstreet. I made up War of 1812 themed cards to use and think it went well. I really like the Longstreet system for convention games because it's easy to teach and people pick up the basics after the first turn |
