I had to go to Socorro, New Mexico for work and, on the way down from Albuquerque I made a side trip to the Salinas Pueblo Missions. Most of the pics show a portion of Gran Quivira, while the final pics show the brownish red mission at Abo. I thought those of you who game the post contact period would find them interesting although, minus the Spanish churches, the native buildings would look the same for pre contact gaming as well. flickr.com/cameraroll |

The Salinas Missions are fascinating, while in Socorro did you get a chance to see Ft. Craig? BTW they aren't kidding when the say watch out for rattlesnakes, I saw the biggest one that I have ever seen at Abo. |

Yes, I was able to get down there before I flew out on Saturday. It is much bigger than I thought it would be. |
