Running a convention is a difficult and largely thankless job. Mostly people only notice (an vent their spleens about) all the little things that go wrong, not all the big things that go right. Thanks to the staff for putting on the show. I had a very good time.

We'll heartily second Buck. It was our first time back in 11 years and without the great help we received from the Staff, it wouldn't have been as enjoyable a convention. Here's to the volunteers, many times our unsung heroes.

Thanks for a great convention!

My encounters with the staff were minimal. I went through the registration process reasonably quickly on Friday morning and found the staff to be polite and in a good mood.

I hope the staff felt the same about me.

Absolutely agree…

It's an huge undertaking and you guys did a great job.

I also appreciated that I saw many volunteers walking through during the evening hours to check on the GM's and gamers to see how it was going.

A big "+1" to Col. Buck's comments.

Thanks also to the GMs, including the HAWKS, who put on about 500 games.

Without them, H'con is just one big shopping trip.

A very good job. I had one minor problem and it was cleared up promptly (thank you, Heather).

Here, here! Everything went quite smoothly this year. Wheel any human endeavor can always be improved, there was nothing that stood out as a problem, and it was a great convention!

+1 … I had a lot fun, it was my first Historicon and I loved it..

I liked the location and I even thought the volume at the ballroom was not bad, I had a game in one of the smaller rooms where volume was a bigger issue…

Looking forward to repeating the trip in the future…

really great job by all involved, organizers and GMs ( and vendors hall was awesome )

cheers
Francisco
