Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any info on some minis I'm painting at the moment. I'm working on some WW2 American Infantry, 3rd Division. Some of the sculpts have a large star on their left shoulder. I'm not too sure what colour to paint it. I'm also not sure if it would replace the divisional badge, or if both should be squeezed on together. Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks! :) |

The 2nd ID's patch is a blue shield with a large white star and an Indian head inside the star. Wondering if they were sculpted as 2ID. I don't recall ever seeing anything about a star worn with the unit patch. |

Sundance is correct. The only US Army division patch with a large white star is second infantry division. By the way, the shield is black not blue. |

Ah ha…I have a couple of American figures from Black Tree and was wondering the same thing. Didn't know if it was a mis-cast or something…now I know. Thanks. P. |

Thanks for the answer guys, and the pic too! Great! It is a bit difficult for some of the sculpts to have a pre-chosen Divisional badge on them. But they are great figures so I can't complain too much. Thanks again! :) |
