Is there anyway you can play Pathfinder solo without a GM i got the box set and the Rule book?

thanks

You have to get the Rise of the Runelords card game. link

It is the only way I know to play a Pathfinder game solo, and even then, it is not exactly the Pathfinder in the box set or the CRB. It is obviously themed to a certain railroad-y set of encounters and goals. You play against time just as much as the bad guy, if time runs out, the bad guys wins just as much as if he defeated you in combat, but it is close enough.

You could get the Mythic Game Master Emulator to generate adventures, and then use Pathfinder for encounters

IMHO, solo Roleplaying Gaming is somehow missing the point. I would strongly suggest one of two options:
1) play in a by-post, email or forum-based campaign, some of which can be found on the Paizo boards.
2) play a computer RPG, some of which come very close to the D&D/Pathfinder ruleset. Neverwinter Nights (both versions 1 & 2) were based of the DD3.5 rules, so very close to Pathfinder. Great games, a wee bit dated, but still very enjoyable.

If you've got a bit of imagination you can play Pathfinder solo no drama. Just get yourself an old school D&D module and take your time, convert on the go and don't read ahead too far. Randomise key decisions and accept the fate of the dice.

I do a lot of fly in fly out work and so started doing a solo campaign using 'tokens' and virtual terrain rather than miniatures and terrain. I recorded events as i went along.

I posted my first two sessions to this message board this evening.

These are obviously just the introductory sessions but later as the party builds up so does the action.

Hope you enjoy.
