Hello. I'm curious as to whether anyone still actively plays Fanticide.
The game never picked up any players in any of my local shops and outside of myself, only one other player invest in this game. I picked up two sets of the book and cards, and the other gent bought the rules set and I believe, all the available factions.
Any opinions anyone wants to share about this game and it's features?

Can't say anything about the rules, but just wanted to make sure you knew that the publisher of the rules and minis is no longer in business. I have not heard yet if anyone else has bought the rights out of bankruptcy.

This is/was a great little small scale warband game. I loved playing it. Though to be honest it got pushed off to the side for the next new game pretty quick. I would go back to it if anyone was interested, but it's off brand of humor really turned off a lot the potential players long term desire.

Would love to see someone get a hold of the mechanics of the game and do something a bit more serious with it.

Some of the miniatures were fun--I hope they resurface in the future.

Many of them were from Eureka and some Reaper I think.

@Royal- I am aware of that. I was just curious about people's opinions of the game I guess it's not really worth investing the time into learning it and teaching others since its OOP and there are so many good alternatives.
It would be nice if some of the Minis returned to production. I've always liked the eyeball creatures but never got around to picking them up. I doubt anyone would pick up the rules and develop them further due to the alternatives.
Thanks for all the comments. 👍🏾

I never really looked into the game…as it was the eyeball creatures that seemed to be the most advertised/reviewed

I found out too late about the winged monkeys, and now I am sorry that they are OOP.

You should be able to get the winged monkeys from Eureka miniatures.

All the minis were from existing ranges, from different companies. That was part of the idea, as I understood it.

So all ought to be available still.

We still have the Flying Monkeys, Indian Centaurs and Eyeball Creatures available, not all are on the web site, but we do have them all. Drop us a line if you cannot find something.

Miniature Market acquired all the Alien Dungeon and Architects of War stuff – and just posted it. You can get a lot of Fanticide stuff in their clearance section for super cheap, including the rulebook and cards for about ten bucks. Just go to the Clearance Section and choose Alien Dungeon as the manufacturer.
