Over the last 15-20 years, I've seen and read a lot about Colonial/Victorian Adventure games. Most have taken the form of "Darkest Africa" games, with a few being set in and around China, and a rare few in other places. I know that the focus of many of the miniatures is set for Africa, but there are many other places and figures that are possible in this "Golden Age" of miniatures gaming, and I wonder where others are going that might not get mentioned.

Though I haven't done much of it lately,my games have mostly been set in the South Pacific, partially inspired by the Movie, Nate and Hayes, and drawing on the history of Australia and China among others.

So I'm curious, where have your Colonial/Victorian Adventure games taken place (including VSF)?

Alaska/Canada
Australia
Arctic/Antarctic
Central America
China
Eqypt
Mars
Sahara
Siberia
South America
Sub-Saharan Africa
Venus

I want to play with etotheipi, those sound like great settings.

We've done a (mostly) European land grab on the moon. There was one force from Phobos (quar).

Also vsf in England with Prussians invading.

Not really Victorian, but I did once have an uneasy alliance between the IRA and Black and Tans vs flying saucers. It didn't last long, as one might suspect.
