I bought the Reaper Bones Crystal Golem. This is made out of a translucent blue plastic, and is quite angular, like a crystal. I'm trying to paint the individual planes white then cover them with Woodland Scenics Snow to get a snow golem. My idea is to leave the nails, teeth and other bits in blue like ice, and to let the blue show through in places like between the toes which would be shaded. So far, I've done a foot, and I'm waiting for it to dry so I can blow off more of the snow stuff. Also, I want to see what it looks like. Has anyone tried anything like this? Any advice/suggestions/comments? Grelber |

I just drybrushed mine with white to pull out all the detail. Then when I textured the base I painted the base like frost was coming out from where his feet were stepping. Came out really well. I'll see if I can post a pic this weekend. |
