Almost as soon as Combat Patrol was released a couple of folks began to modify the morale results to better represent Japanese forces. Since then, I have been working on a supplement that includes different morale results for the Japanese as well as some additional, optional rules.
To date all Combat Patrol supplements have been free. That will be true for this supplement as well; however, I am designing a new Action Deck for the Japanese. The top 2/3 of the Action cards will be exactly the same as the other Action Decks; however, the bottom 1/3 with the morale results will be different. See bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=5402 for examples of some of the work in progress from my artist. I said the supplement will be free. That is true. It will include a spreadsheet that shows you how to convert the generic morale to Japanese morale. Note that every card has a unique serial number. You would draw a card, but instead of reading the morale result on the card, you would look up that card's serial number on the provided table. I think that most folks who game the Pacific would rather have one of these modified Action Decks. I think that a set will include two decks of cards with unique backs. The supplement will also include optional rules for suicide anti-tank attacks, banzai charges, and perhaps one or two more goodies. I don't have a project release date yet, but it will likely be some time in August. Buck |

Look forward to these. The basic set is great and the other updates have only added to the fun. |

Buck, Appreciate the work and appreciate your attempt to keep the supplement free. Think most of us won't mind paying for the cards. Thanks Joe |
