Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the the Netherlands.

As promised, this month's release is the much-requested BTR-60 in 144th (10 or 12mm)!

(I apologise for only having Replicator 2 protoype photos, which did not esecially like the wheels (unusually, I had to print them as a top/bottom); I am 50% sure we had a BTR-60PA in WSF, but it's no in the display box, so if we did, it must be with my mate's box after the last convention. Sorry!)

So, we have the BTR-60PA and two variants (both of which come with a choice of MG or HMG):

The BTR-60PA with additional machine guns mounted on the rails (these had to be moulded to the hull, on the basis that even I couldn't wangle a structural way to model that!)

And a partly-submerged, swimming version with the splash plate up for aquatic operations. (The model itself requires the turret from the regular version, but I sowed it on the photos for effect).

Then we have the BTR-60PB and its watergoing version.

(I apologise for the touch of paint splatter! Naturally, I noticed this only after taking all the photos..!)

Next month will be the T-62.

After that, the BMD-1 (which I've started) and hopefully, the T-64 following that!

Those look really great!

Thanks for sharing.

Especially love the swimming variants.

Looking forward to the BMD and T-64.

Yes, they look great. I will order some once the budget recovers from Historicon. And I get the last batch of your vehicles painted.

Would love to see the West German Spz 11-2, Spz Kurz, with 20mm cannon produced.

Lots of variants of this one available too, including Beob (observer vehicle), 81mm mortar, ammo carrier, etc., etc..
