Where did I see latex craters??? I played with a guy who purchased them and they came as a sheet, in random sizes, than could be plucked apart or even kept together in organic clumps. I'd like to buy them if I could find them again (and I don't find that they're really expensive).

Thanks!

I believe they were made by Scenic Effects, which I believe is not being produced anymore. I thought that Monday Knight Productions had picked up this line of terrain. I bought my set from them at a local Convention. I do not see the Scenic Effect product line on their web site though.

Well dang…

In that case, his difficult would it be to make something similar? Anyone ever make small craters (1-2" wide?) with calking or anything like that?

Be sure to use a paintable caulk… ;-)

TMP advertiser Fidelis Models sells resin cast craters in several sizes. If you don't see them on their website, then send them an email and ask about them.

See if you can find Rick's Scenics – I bought stuff from him two years ago at Pacificon in San Jose, rivers and streams. He may still me about selling, just not under Scenic Effects any more (I think).

Use FIMO clay you can make hundreds of diffrent sizes yourself from it, OR even childrens plasticene and fix it with clear nail varnish
