Last weekend we put on a VBCW game at Muster on the Parade Ground show in Stockton upon Tees using Buck Surdu's inspirational Combat Patrol, platoon level skirmish rules.

We have a full write up of how the game went in our Hobby Blog at : wargamesbuildings.co.uk/epages/950003459.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950003459/Categories/Hobby_Pages/Hobby_Blog/Combat_Patrol_VBCW_Participation_Game_Muster_on_Parade_Ground_2016

I love the sheep herd! Great looking game – definitely "photo realistic".

Very impressive chaps. Great battlefield.

I like the clear bases.

It was a fun and engaging game. The one thing I forgot to mention was that the BUF used some rather caddish tactics with their trucks, attempting on a number of occasions to run over some of the Socialist young ladies. This tactic was not covered in the Combat Patrol rulebook so I decided that the ladies could attempt their reaction roll to jump out of the way and avoid harm.

I think there is an optional rule for running over troops.
