After a lifetime of doing Napoleonics I've decided to try something completely different – late medieval. So these are real newbie questions.
I'm planning on doing two fairly small units Burgundians and Richard Neville Earl of Warwick. There will be archers, pikemen, crossbows. billmen, dismounted men at arms and mounted men at arms. Not that the units will each have all of these.
My question is: Would some of these units have banners or livery banners? Would the Warwick retinue have banners for other knights/nobles?
Thanks in advance for any info. Thanks for your patience with these basic questions.
Regards,
John

I do WOR and some Burgundians. I go with lots of banners in each unit except bowman where I have 1 banner for every 18 or 24 bow.

It's a matter of feel for me. Mounted have the most.

Good Luck!
