A little know event in Irish military history is finally getting recognition. Has anyone ever wargamed this? link |

Never wargamed it. According to the article, ALL the defenders at Rorke's Drift died. I've played THAT game. |

Sure, it's very cool to game. Did it over 20 years ago in 1/300 as part of my UN Invades Katanga Game. |

Waco, we're currently working on Wild Geese style mercs so I'm probably going to widen the net to cover Katanga and the Irish – depends how the wild geese go. Alternatively there is the existing Britannia Congo figures, or the old Mongrel range if you can find any second hand. Closest to the Irish is probably the Eureka Aden figures with a headswap. |

I was thinking on doing this as a game using French Indo China figures for the Irish. What do you think? |
