As the title suggests, my take on Moroccan musketmen circa 1664?

Super chaps Ray!
Who makes 'em?

Very nice work, Ray.

I see you're also guessing about Moroccan forces. With that said, I'm going to guess:

A small 'household' force for Moulay Ismail, maybe a few companies of black slave musketeers, and up to a couple hundred mounted noble retainers as the best cavalry in the army, ferocious and armored. Then a big mob of sipahi al bilad tribal militia cavalry under their sheikhs. Infantry? I dunno, maybe some town militia. It's kind of early for flintlock jezzail muskets to be very wide-spread.

I'll take a walk through my library and see whether I can find anything solid for Morocco.

I checked. I have nothing on Morocco.

@ jocknroll – The figures are from Artizan, from the French Foreign Legion range!
@ zippyfusnet – Thanks for trying, its a very underwritten period of British history.
