Just bought "L'art de la Guerre" and while looking through the army lists I see that Parthians can field Medium cav horse archers, much like Sassanids.

Now doing a little digging and I find Dehbed Asavara, apparently Lesser noble cavalry, armoured horse archers who could also carry a spear on unarmoured horses!
Dug out my Maa Rome's enemies 3 and on the front cover is the same figure, in the plates he's called a 1cAD cataphract.

As I already have enough Cataphracts and Light horse archers painted up to field a Parthian army for LADG, I can now kitbash some MC from my spare figures.

Can anyone point me to any historical pages for a bit more info on these troops?
