I know I saw a trolley car several years ago. I think it was wrecked but can't remember the company. Anyone help me out? Thanks Joe |

There are a pair that were put out in HO scale. One of them was the San Francisco cable car and the other more of a European style trolley car. I used the European-style with my late war WWII collection. They came in a motorized version with metal wheels for actual use with HO trains and the same car bodies came unmotorized with plastic wheels. The unmotorized versions are significantly cheaper and those I the ones I used. I'm sorry I can't provide a manufacturer name. I was lucky and found mine at the swap meet. I got several of them in a pile of discarded toys… no boxes, but only $1 USD each. You can see the ones I have painted up in pictures 15 and 29 of my Germany 1945 Gallery at link |

I just did a quick check of eBay by typing in HO trolley and I found several of the ones I used (motorized and unmotorized versions). None listed a manufacturer, but the trolley was called Desire St. 463 (no doubt having to do with Street Car Named Desire). They range in price… unfortunately none are nearly a cheap as I got mine. |
