In Osprey's "Armies of medieval Burgundy" it states that men-at-arms were issued a vermilion velvet St. Andrews cross to wear over the armor. The author states that it is not known how this was attached.

Anybody have any further info? Does the cross appear on the back as well as the front?

I'm working on some Perry plastic figures and might want to add this detail. Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
John
