Love the firing line, with fallen casualties and those just hit; really dramatic look. Interested to see your foot artillery, lower down, have the shakos in covers. You maybe have your doubts about the brass fixtures for 1815? I agree. The DB Horse Artillery were the first metal Napoleonic figures I did in a 30 year gap…let us just say yours' look far better. My plumes were red, but then I let myself be persuaded to redo them in black. Some evidence for that. Really nice work. I often think these Perry figures look a bit "dated"….some of their earliest work in their own range and before scale creep developed. You have changed my mind… |

Thx for the nice words. Now I just need some cav. Wonder if I will ever get around doing that. Cant really decide what unit I should start with if I just had to do one. My armies are concentrated around Quatre Bras. Pls tell me what you think… Dragons, hussars….. All the best Rasmus aka miniaturepainter |

Thx Ferg. Painted up a brigade of Brunswick, they are my blog too…might need to take some better shots. Got 2 line, 1 light, hussars, foot arty and command. Got the uhlans but need to paint them….might finnish them before embarking on dutch cav. So much to paint so little time😀 would love a orange nassau Brigade love their uniform but might settle for 2 Battalions. |
