anyone tried SP2 with 15/18mm figures yet?
if done in 15/18mm, do you think the ranges and move distances have to messed with?

I would like to try SP2 and I've practically got a blank slate to start from; only that I'm already doing ACW in 18mm using Blue Moon for RFF, so already have some terrain in that scale. I'm thinking SP2 either for more ACW or maybe AWI.

if SP2 works good in 18mm, I might just do ACW as I'm already investing in that anyway. If it's really suited for 28mm then i'll probably go AWI.

I wonder if SP2 is like CoC, where 15mm works really well even though most folks use 28mm.

please let me know your thoughts.

Yes, I do it too. It works very wel; kept same distances which actually gives a better density to what is supposed to be close order formations, compared to a realistic idea of the ground scale.
More space on table, after all just like over there in real, nothing like the Netherlands he?

I know many gamers can't care less, but if too distorded it gives the wrong tactics.
In 18 mm hills etc. Look much easier to do and better.

The only regrets: all those injuns in 28 mm with different tribes portrayed well and so many real nice mdf buildings. AFAIK only three good ones from 4 ground, who once told me maybe….

No issues with 15/18 SP2 Just played a game last weekend and although it had a slightly different feel from Ver 1, we had fun. The Canadiens and Abenakis did a good job of running off the Anglos Nice thing about 15/18 is that the ground scale is much more in line with the minis so looks more accurate IMO.
I ran quite a few games in 15/18 with the first edition and thoroughly enjoyed them.

SP2 works very well with 15mm without having to change any of the rules. I've played several ACW games now using my ACW collection which was originally based for F&F. I just substitute a standard 3 figure base for each 28mm single figure in a group and it looks really good on the tabletop. As has been said it is a closer match to the ground scale.

thanks everyone, that makes me feel better about investing in the project further. Even better that there's no needed modifications of the rules.

even better that for the ACW it looked good using F&F basing, as that will make it even easier for me to put on as I've got troops based for RFF (though so far, only one side).
