The 95e Ligne were in the Peninsular War from the start providing a very weak battalion to the 6th Provisional Regiment, part of Moncey's Corps

The full strength 95e Rgiment de Ligne would see a string of victories against the Spanish before Talavera

The Peninsular War is the only Napoleonic theatre of interest to me and your painted units are an inspiration for me to continue raising my own French forces.

Hey randy51, thank you for your kind comment and great to hear from a fellow Peninsular War fan.

It really is a very interesting theatre and interesting to note that the cream of Napoleon's Grand Armee, such as the 95e Ligne, was concentrated there in 1808/09 and would continue to supply veteran cadres to other campaign theatres right up to 1814.

When you add in all the great variations in uniform from all the participants and reasonably sized battles, what's not to like?

Cheers
JJ
