Hi
Did somebody ordered recently from those 2 UK manufactures?
following the enthousisasm (also from a commercial/game point of view) i contacted them, quite a few days ago and the same day, to place some small orders with among other things some enquiry for the possibility of a small customisation (need for example some individual ACW drivers to use as AZW British Colonial as suggested in this forum)..well untill this day..no answer at all
maybe they are in Holidays..in this case no problem..i'll wait untill the end of the summer and think about beach instead of minis…or did they to choose a Brexit from European/Continental customers? :-)

For the driver you could try WG70 Driver in shirtsleeves (wears a straw hat) from Dixon link

I don't know what's going on with Redoubt. I had placed orders with them over the years with no trouble then a couple of years ago I had an order that didn't arrive after a month, I emailed them asking about it, no response even to my cancellation of said order until finally I contacted PayPal, that finally got their attention. It's too bad because I would love to order some of their stuff but yours is the third such incident posted here in the last few weeks.

I do not know about Redoubt but I recently ordered from Gripping Beast and the service and communication were outstanding.

I ordered a small order of AZW stuff from Redoubt last year and had no emails to say order was received, but it arrived in just over a week.

So did you send them an actual order from their website or just a contact email to make an inquiry?

i send to both companies an email of enquiries..mentioning an order …but before actually doing an order i would have liked to be aware if i could order something in particular …customised ….

Redoubt is the worst. They are very unresponsive to emails and orders take forever. They pack their orders poorly too. Figures are put into ziplock bags and mailed in a plain envelope with no padding.

its a pity because i understand that some of their ranges could be less easy to sell because uncompatible with other manufactures due to the large size…but other..like Boxer Rebellion and Boer War while suffering to be practically unkown ….are very nice, varied , comprehensive, easy to buy because sold individully and totally compatible with the major ones like WF, OG ecc….but if they do not answer.
other matter is GB…very comunicative first order (in which they offered to replace a wongly sent item) but then…the sound of silence

Theyr Trojan Wars range is completely 100% compatible with the Foundry range and much more complete.
What has the thread of vBashytubits has to do with anything here ?
