Hey all, Back at this past Cold Wars I played a fantastic 25mm Cog Wars game using a set of rules by the same name. The gentleman running it said that he would email me the rules (I just picked up my own 15mm ships) but I seem to have lost the slip of paper I wrote his info on. Does anyone happen to know him, or happen to have the rules themselves? Thanks, J |

Most likely Brian Whitaker. I don't have his email though. |

Jared, Was it these rules by Old Glory? (Oars to cannon) link Probably not, as not the same title,. although I believe they may be derived from the earlier Cog Wars rules. If you check the PEL, you should be able to ID the GM at CW. Brian runs a lot of Naval games at HMGS conventions. If it was he, he likely will be putting on some games at Historicon, and you can try hitting him up in person there. Peter |

IIRC, "Cog Wars" (and a related "Galley Wars") were a very simple set of fun-for-all rules that came "free," packed with the resin ships in either 15mm or 25mm that Minifigs USA used to sell from the converted hen house in NY, somewhere in the vicinity of "Hudson High" (weren't they in White Plains?). Haven't heard of the rules being available in a LONG time. Sadly! |
