Hi all,

after some more DIY in our Home, I have finally finished the second batch of French Command Bases as a Commission which are part of the ones I did a month ago. I really getting used to the Front Rank Miniatures. They are a bit chunkier than some other manufacturers and on some of the casts you can really tell their age now but all of them were a real pleasure to paint.

Here are the figures and the links to more pictures on my website ;)

Well, I hope you like them.

Please let me know what you think, all comments are very welcome.

Kind regards

Sascha

Superb as usual!
What blues are you using for the French jackets?

Thank you wrgmr1,

I am using Foundry's French Blue Triad but with additional shading mixing black into A and adding Tomb Blue to C for more highlights

First rate work! It would be an honor to be defeated by such superbly painted commanders.

As usual outstanding, I particularly like your horses in these photos.
