Just wanted to share some pictures from our Punic War Campaign game at the Liberty Hobby Center last Saturday.

We had 12 players try the new Triumph rules and play through the Gulf of the Lion Campaign planned for Historicon Saturday Event number S355.

The event was a blast to run and I really appreciate the Chicago guys once again letting me use them again for a test run before Historicon. They also helped play test the 25/28mm Crusade battle.

Map initial setup

Some action shots from the various battles…

In the end Carthage Orospeda (Hannibal) won the event by making Rome and the other Carthaginian generals his vassal states and becoming master of the Mediterranean. The Gallic rebellion was also successful in the North with many burgeoning Gallic empires on the rise, but nothing could match the growing power of Carthage.

Hannibal overseeing his empire, notice all the countries marked in green (many people don't realize that Hannibal's eye patch was mistranslated from the original Carthaginian word for wrist brace)

Final score.

Thanks again to Bill for hosting!

I've received my Northstar order today and am very, very pleased with them!!
Extremely useful for SAGA, Frostgrave and all sorts of interesting conversions (GoT!!).
I wonder why I haven't seen more of them as yet..they certainly deserve the attention.
Actually I think they are Fireforge's best plastic offering to date and I'm absolutely sure I will buy *at least* two more boxes 8)

Cheers

LOL, This thread was started by me then disappeared so I had to re-post.

Now it has been moved back to the Convention location, I assume by one of the editors, and brings all the joys of the bug with it???

Campaign games are great..but always a challenge to keep everyone consistent.

It looks great. Have been 'fighting' that urge of getting Fireforge's Knights. Always a fan of the "knights of the round table' legend.
