AQ's will cost you a lot more when it is released. This one was built straight out the box with the only edition being Peter Pig figures and transfers. The scope for kitbashing is huge. |

It looks ludicrous – none of the weapons have any room to recoil or for re-loading. How could you mount an 18inch gun on such a small land mounting ? On a naval mounting its mount and machinery would weigh over 300 tons. I've no idea what AQ is but one has to assume some sort of magic or sham science is involved, pity they couldn't make it a bit more believable. |

Mixed feelings. I love looking at it. It looks cool. I love the height. I love the armored exterior passageways. I love the idea of running along the gunwales as you approach the enemy. I really like it. But I think the ground pressure is going to be really, really high. It's going to bog on anything but rock. I don't understand the curved glass window at the front, especially when you have such a nice bridge three stories above. The side and front torrents have little guns underneath, and I imagine the machinery and working spaces for those turrets would overlap in a bad way. I don't understand that thin deck underneath the forward potion of the big gun. For that matter, there are windows underneath that turret where there should only be rotation and ammo handling machinery. And the road wheel covers look dubious. I like the lips around the doors and windows, but the box joints should have been covered better. There are some big, flat areas that needed more decoration, such as the sides of the forward hull. There are rivets where there probably shouldn't be, and no rivets where you probably would need them. The Swan Electric Cannon is awesome. I love this thing, it is great. If a bunch of, say, boxers sprang out of the brush to assault this vehicle with hooks and ropes and martial arts I would play this in a heart beat. I'm definitely tossing all those photos in my inspiration folder. But I wish this were a draft instead of the final product. |

"Er,rather a high profile,hasn't it,sir?" "Nonsense,my boy! We'll give a nice coat of drab paint--practically invisible,d'you see?" |

AQ – is All Quiet on the Martian Front. Formerly from Alien Dungeon, it has been picked up by IronClad Games. |

This thing might have made a better agricultural implement for say…deforesting a continent. Slowly. Land ironclads in AQ move glacially, 4 inches per movement phase. They should have moved positions of the main gun and the Electric gun. Main gun turret has the Zika virus, way too small for the gun.Turret should be three times bigger. However, with the gun's self loading gear, recoil hydraulics, and magazine, there ain't room for the coal, boilers, and transmission gear to run all those slow-moving treads. You are going to need another one to push this one along. Only a Tiger can pull a Tiger, right. But, hey, I want one, …or two. |
