Such a great looking table! Very western Spanish. And thanks for the report and orders of battle. This is definitely one I have filed away to take a crack at with my newly minted Peninsular Spanish and French.

Excellent report!….

If I may, the ground cloth. Green felt with copious amounts of flock to break up the color? Really effective and one I plan on copying… I'm also going to assume that the flock is NOT glued down. If correct, to keep the mess, do you just fold and go on clean up?

Fantastic report and great blog.

Madcam.

Hi Madcam…..yes I use a plain green felt mat and then several layers of different colored flock on top…..then I add some random sawdust to add a rougher texture…..none of it is glued……styrofoam underneath for hills….to clean up I use a dirt devil mini vac to get most flocking back into containers………….then fold and store
