Rule sets that are titled ____ & ____ Cripes, is there some federal law that gives you a tax break if you call it X and Y? *rant over* |

What about X, Y and Z? Would that still be allowed? Because I've got this idea and… |

A much more annoying subset are the alliterative ones. |

It's the 'Fields' that get me. Fields of this, Fields of that, Fields of the other. So many damn fields that they're starting to repeat themselves. "Fields of Honor" – Chameleon's 19th c. multiscale ruleset, or "Fields of Honor" – Pinnacle's WWII company-level rules? I swear, somebody's going to write a set of naval rules and call it "Fields of Water". |
Extra Crispy | 29 Jun 2016 1:53 p.m. PST |
I think I may trademark "Fields of Water & Wetness" – ampersand and alliteration all in one…. |

I have dibs on "Flames of Liberty". Nothing legal, just dibs, and dibs should count for something. |
rmaker | 29 Jun 2016 2:34 p.m. PST |
I've got this vague feeling that Flames of Liberty was already used back in the '60's, but no evidence to back it up. |
Extra Crispy | 29 Jun 2016 3:52 p.m. PST |
Well, I have as long a list of rule sets as anyone out there and so far as I know "Flames of Liberty" as well as "Flames & Liberty" are both unclaimed…. |

One of my favs is Valor & Steel & Flesh, so three ands but it was also kind of a pun since it is a VSF rule set. |

Rules for the Indian mutiny. Flames & Pain out of my O. Bit clunky but sums up the actual conflict and curry night all in one go. |

Does this mean we have to give up on drunk & disorderly? There goes half my wargaming right there. On the positive side, it will save you oodles on bail bonds. There's always a silver lining. |

Would it be OK to just change them all from "and" to "or"? Guts or Glory? Guns or Steel? Dungeons or Dragons? Blood, Sweat or Tears? Shake or Bake? The Captain or Tennille? |
HidaSeku | 30 Jun 2016 2:10 p.m. PST |
Here I was going to write the ruleset A Song of Flames, Steel, Liberty, Empires, Eagles, and Glory : A multi-scale multi-level miniatures wargame. Of course, it would have separate supplements by era, by nation, by scale, by level, by commander – with several commanders spanning several supplements showing their evolution as commanders. |

Bashytubits | 02 Jul 2016 9:02 a.m. PST |
What's so wrong with "_and_". We could never have fried and extra crispy if you banned it. I call dibs on Liberty's Eagles in Flames. |

The Captain or Tennille? Works for me; outside of her work with Pink Floyd not my cuppa, but, at 76, she looks a heck of a lot better than I, a dozen years younger. Doug |
