It would have been a great deal if not for the curious conversion from Euro 47,5 to Dollar 61,6 (for volume 1) when you click on the "Lulu buy-button". The conversion should have been between USD 52,2-52,9 (looking at different exchange rates). USD 61,6 gives a price increase of 17% compared to 52,5, so the net discount is actually 15-16% (depending on exchange) after you use the LULU35 code for discount.
I have Volume 2 and 3 so I would say your work Erwin is great. However, USD 41 + P&P for the colour version is still pricey for a softcover after "35%" discount. I understand that I may sound like Scrooge, but may there be something wrong with the site, or is there something "magic" happening when I operate the Lulu site? |

Well, very shortly anything imported into the UK from Europe will probably be even more expensive(if not outlawed!) as our currency collapses….just as I am taking the family to Manhattan for a holiday. Still, it is better than 1983, when I spent 6 months in Michigan and it was £1.00 GBP/$US1.06 ! |

Just to be clear…and I admit I was too slow, what with holidays abroad etc did not order in time ….the 35% of the title is now 25%? Perfectly reasonable as long as that is clear……the bargain is slightly reduced? The answer to the question you posed at the very top "is it never going to end?" is "YES" not "No" as quoted? Fully understand the trials and tribulations of publishing (try doing it with medical textbooks…) |
