Online – its the only place I can get W&N series 7 miniature brushes, even large art shops don't seem to sell them any more. How do you get the Works brushes to keep their point ? For me they just curl over, making them useless. My wife had some for watercolours but the ones I borrowed were totally useless. |

Artist's shops for W&N series 7. Bought one online recently and it was skanky. Really need to see a good brush up-close before purchasing. |

The "good" brushes I buy from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. For disposable brushes I buy cheap ones from the Japanese dollar store (now it's a dollar-and-a-half store)Daiso. Surprisingly, these cheap brushes from Daiso are pretty good! I bought five packs of them and am still using the first pack! If you can, give them a shot… |

I bought a pair of sable brushes from a local art store, Plaza Art, this weekend, previous set on-line from Dick Blick. I'll buy utility brushes from A.C. Moore. pjm |

Used to be craft store. When my father passed away, he had a craft supply pile that would make any five wargamers' lead piles look like a leisurely weekend project for one. I (SWMBOm and DOM) don't buy paintbrushes any more; don't expect to have to for a few more years. |

Anywhere I can find some red sable brushes that look like they will work. I dont ever buy by mail because the brushes often vary in depth even when they claim to be the same sizes. |
