I was looking for any historical scenarios prior to Bull Run. I have one for Big Bethel. |

Rich Mountain is the most significant battle before Bull Run, but it only features two brigade sized turning movements (a failed one by Rosecrans and a successful one by McCook) and the enemy quitting the field. Of course, these days we ignore McCook's movement, which was the decisive one. link |

The Battle of Blackburn's Ford was just before Bull Run. |

Thank you all very much for the help. I am currently collecting my armies together and would like to use them in historical scenarios. I also seem to have enough OCD in me to want to do them in historical order! And of course the early battles suit someone who's armies are still small and who is still inexperienced fighting ACW battles. Great Map 67th thanks. |

Rich Mountain is a bugbear of mine, as the turning movement with McCook's Brigade was the decisive moment, but is airbrushed out. |
