Seems to me an unfortunate choice of name for the thing What? Perhaps like the Roman spear of the same name, it replaced an earlier model called the Pilum. Perfectly fine name for a - Oh. Oh, you thought that was an "E" :D

Renegade Legion used the same name for a space fighter and C-in-C miniatures made the models: A different Spiculum link All the TOG models used Roman-derived names |
