Wow, excellent.
Thank you for sharing, I didn't know a DVI was out there.
I'm intrigued by the Austrians and would like to make a force of them.
Do you know what happened to the Austrian DVI's after the war?
(Did the Hungarian Soviet get any of them?)

I wouldn't be able to tell your model had any chips.

Very nice, very nice work. Something I would have never even attempted.

And you shouldn't have been bothered by the decal chips…it's weathering……. wink

Wiki notes the D.VI in Hungarian service, but I can't back that up.

Looks like a dreidecker on steroids with a wing chopped off.

I am afraid to ask…what sort of rating withing Wings of Glory?

It is one of the nicest looking planes from the war. I had no idea that any made it to the Austrian-Hungarians!

Very nice! I look forward to seeing it on the table!

Same maneuver deck as the Sopwith triplane (U), twin MG – little more robust than the Dr. I, little lower max alt.

It's a good plane, but it's no D.VII

AH purchased 15 Fokker D.VIs. On 08 Aug 1918 LFT changed the order for 8 to Fokker D.VIIs or D.VIIIs. On 27 Aug 1918 Fokker shipped 7 (1632-1635/18, 1641/18, 1642/18 and 1644/18) to the MAG factory for engine and armament installation. LFT designation was 04.101 to 04.107 entered service with the Hungarian Red Airborne in 1919, 6 were at Szombathely. The single remaining one was written-off in 1926.

Very cool AC! I wanna get one myself! Joe Kubert used to always have them flying around his "Enemy Ace" comic books & until about 30 years ago, I didn't know it was a real plane! I a cool mash-up of a DR1 body, tail & engine & DVII-like wings and struts! Great job on that beauty!
Reviresco makes one. I think I'll pick one at H-Con if I can find one.
