I just acquired three used Games Workshop Tau flying vehicles. They are of the type pictured here: link They are made of some kind of plastic. I would like to remove the existing paint, if possible, and repaint them. (I think I'll give them to my Traveller Imperial Marines.) What have you found that works? Thanks. |

Ive used Simple Green in the past to good effect. |

Yep, Simple Green will work, but give it time, may take days of soaking them. |

The paint doesn't look that thick on the photo. I would just reprime it and start over again. Stripping is going to be more trouble than it is worth. |

I've found oven cleaner the best for stripping paint off plastic models. Robert |

Pictors Studio, sorry that link was just to show the type of vehicle. It wasn't actual item. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I'll try oven cleaner (which I have in the house) first. |

Purple Power Engine cleaner. You can leave plastic or resin in it for weeks and it won't damage it. Cheaper then Simple green and wont damage your figs if forgotten. And isnt as harmful to you as oven cleaner. |
