This rule set has been getting loads of game time at the club recently as its easy to learn and the game mechanism ensures everybody remains involed. The pictures of two different games on Juniors Blog were taken quite awhile ago so i cant remember the details!!! Hopefully some of the notes will give a flavour of the game.
Link Thanks for looking. |

Nice table. I have recently bought the rules, but not used them yet, so enjoyed your post. |

Great looking game. I picked up the rules last weekend and I'm looking forward to trying them out soon. |

I think you're in for a good time when you get round to a game. Thanks for the comments. |

Never heard of those rules. Are they for 1:1 battles? |

Not really 1:1 , a section of infantry represents a squad. You can use any scale , Ive played in 15mm using FOW basing , so one stand is a squad , one stand mortar represents a battery of 3 mortars , one anti tank gun etc. Ive also played in 28mm ,using a group of 5 figures as an infantry section. |

Keith you need to be careful with terminology. A section is a squad to,us Brits. One stand to a section/squad makes them same as Command Decision. I have played the rules and like them. |

Yes a STAND = a section or a squad (they are the same thing) in these rules, CD however, is one stand = a platoon, not the same at all. |

Ok I should have said the rules state "infantry detachments" represent an element of a platoon , such as a squad. (A base of 4 or 5 or so figures or 4 or 5 individual figures) Does that help ? |

So more like Battlefront WW2. I played 1 game with the rules and particularly like the activation system. |

pretty much, i think iron cross is 1 to 1 for vehicles while Battlefront has its (slightly wobbly) 1 vehicle represents 1 or 2 real vehicles…which i rather like |
