Looking at the French deployment it looks like it was a better game than an actual battle. I did the 250th reenactment at Fort Niagara in 2009. It was brutal and accurate.

Neat way to portray an old growth forest

Love the grass….teddy bear for maybe?

Cluck Amok26 Jun 2016 7:38 a.m. PST

uglyfatbloke – yes, the grass is fur.

21eRegt – We purposely changed the deployments to have the main bodies of forces arrive at the same time to make a better game. As you note, it would not have been much fun for the French players otherwise : )

Thanks for sharing the great pictures. The cork is very convincing as the ground in an old deciduous forest.

My pleasure my friend… (smile)

Didn't Frenchie win this action in a blizzard of musket balls?

huron725 Supporting Member of TMP29 Jun 2016 5:34 p.m. PST

Incredibly nice.

Thanks again, everyone. Frenchie actually lost this one in a hail of musket balls. In the actual battle, the British arrived at the clearing in time to set an ambush.
