Guys, I'm in over my head. A friend has asked me to find good homes for a 1/1200 WWII collection, and I only do land warfare. Naturally, wargamers have priority. Can anyone tell me whether there is still a market for the scale, and if so advise me on how best to break up a large collection into saleable chunks? Thanks. |

Yes, there is definitely a market. Usually, broken down by nationality first, then class types, etc., etc.. You could also try to sell mixed forces, e.g. one BB, two plus cruisers, and four – eight DDs, as sets, too. |

Are they 1/1250 Neptun models? If so, there should be a decent market for them. You can go check out this message board to get advice on how to go about shifting them: link |

Search Ebay for completed sales, it will give you an idea of prices and demand. There seems to be a market for them. |

I have a large number of 1/1250 scale, but concentrate on Pre-dreadnoughts. second the 1/1250 link from "idontbelieveit". A lot of knowledgeable folks on there. Good luck – if you need any help let me know. Bill |
