Aside from a couple of Old Glory figures I see amongst them, while they'd probably just about do for the beginning of the Maderista uprising in 1910 those foot figures are seriously under-armed for Villistas, all of whom would have had at least a Winchester – and their choice of leg-wear would raise some eyebrows, too. I bought samples of the Outpost 'Villista' figures before committing to purchasing large numbers of them, and I'm glad I did; most of them are depicted in full-leg, Old West-style chaps, rather than the knee/thigh high leggings that were actually worn during the Revolution. Prospective purchasers should be aware that there's a lot of work involved in correcting this particular flaw. |
