Anyone have any hints on how to build a 15mm OGRE? Or links to any papercraft OGREs Would a 1/48 scale MAUS be a good start? |

This model will make a great OGRE or BOLO if you do not want to stick to the original look: 1/72 Bad Guy (Akuyaku 1 Go) hlj.com/product/TACTG-2/Sci Here are some test photos with 15mm figures for scale: link |

If you are good at kit-bashing then you might want to start with any of the modern tanks in a large scale. I would suggest either 1/35 scale where the selection is huge: link The trick is that the basic form of most of these is too well known by most gamers, so it might be difficult to make a conniving model they will not see as the original model. Now in 1/32 scale are these old kits re-released and of odder subjects: link link link I have not seen these kits in person, but similar re-release models are often quite poor, so expect to use plenty of filler. These French tanks are also not so well known here (USA) so might make a good start: link |
