Anyone have any hints on how to build a 15mm OGRE? Or links to any papercraft OGREs

Would a 1/48 scale MAUS be a good start?

The recent Deluxe Ogre had slot-together cardboard models. You g
could get hold of aset of those, copy and enlarge.

If you are good at kit-bashing then you might want to start with any of the modern tanks in a large scale. I would suggest either 1/35 scale where the selection is huge:

The trick is that the basic form of most of these is too well known by most gamers, so it might be difficult to make a conniving model they will not see as the original model.

Now in 1/32 scale are these old kits re-released and of odder subjects:

I have not seen these kits in person, but similar re-release models are often quite poor, so expect to use plenty of filler.

These French tanks are also not so well known here (USA) so might make a good start:
