I mostly use Vallejo, but are there any good GW colors or "layers" for ACW? I tried nuln oil before but thought quickshade was better, Citadel black primer is awesome, but are there any good browns for Confederates or anything else in their range that is worth a look? |

A few years back when I first started painting Americans for Flames of War, the recommended GW colors in Afrika were ghastly. |

I would say no. I think everything you need for layering is in their line. |

An old name for pants shadow gray. The newer Citadel name is something else. |
