Our Tuesday night gaming group played a very enjoyable and indeed a close-run thing involving French and Dutch fleets, circa 1796. For your viewing pleasure, I present: minisrmywaterloo.blogspot.com |

Nice report and a nice change of pace with French v Dutch. I really enjoy Brian's rules as well and it is refreshing to see a battle report using them. |

Read through the rest of your current blog as well. Very well done! You are spot on about dice – perverse little creatures who seem to defy the rules of statistics on a disturbingly regular basis. B |

Thank you both for the kind comments. Yes, Brian is a very nice guy and his games are always a lot of fun to play. Quick, simple, and we always laugh through the games. Dice…I got mad and cussed them one time in a game, and they paid me back with lousy rolls for a year! |

LOL. I once had a gamer throw his dice at me after an unfortunate result. B |

HAH! Anyone that's known Rob for any length of time will know about his "love-hate" relationship with dice! |

Yes indeed, Rob's relationship with his dice is more hate then love! Though that is probably true for the vast majority of us, I believe! Especially when it seems the bad rolls always seem to far out number the good ones! Even though we all know that isn't the reality, it's just the bad rolls seem to be more memorable and near historic! |

Not a fan of hex games, but like the sound of the rules. How can I get my hands on a set? Be safe Rory |
