Can someone more knowledgeable about British newspapers comment on the source reliability? You can do that now, you know. grin

I particularly like the part about "corporate team building exercises". I guess walking on fire is not enough any more.

Oh. I forgot.
What rules would you use, and what 28mm figures are best?

I hope the author makes a lot of money on this so his great grandchildren can enjoy the sport. Save the planet kill the humans.

Now I'm confused. In a hundred years our robot overlords will be hunting us for sport?

Now that's just weird…

Couldn't read the article, due to a "long-running script", which just freezes the page, and needs me to reload it, which of course just restarts the cycle anew.

Happens a lot, probably due to my PC settings, and/or age. A pity.

Seems like a useful past-time, especially if combined with bounties on the heads of certain groups, like terrorists, etc..

Is this one of those papers with the Page Two Girl?

I worked for the NYU library back in the day. Whenever a crate of books arrived from Britain, all the guys would help unpack the books, because they were wrapped in British tabloids. The Page Two Girls sometimes had g-strings. These tabloids made screeching American tabloids look tame in comparison.

There's just a bit of supposition "underground by 2100, maybe legitimate by 2200". Yeah, right.

Utter Drivel is where this belongs all right!

Gray Primer Van or Purge. Hasslefree.

Didn't someone try a TV show where macho guys with paint guns would hunt down bikini clad women in the woodlands of America? I seem to recall some of the hype…don't think it lasted long.

Hunting people is already big business. Ask any detective agency what percentage of their business is missing persons. And that doesn't count the official efforts.

Can you still hunt pygmies? Buddy of mine was offered that option on a recent African hunting trip. He declined.

I will only be worried if muscular guys hopped on steroids with a thick Austrian accent start going around asking "are you Sarah Connor"?

Yes, people hunt and eat them because they are thought to be magical. By eating them, you attain their magic.

'Is this one of those papers with the Page Two Girl?'

Obviously specially printed export editions.

(It's Page 3 – usually in the Sun)

Terrible idea – anyone who's ever watched a straight-to-video low-budget action movie knows that the 'prey' inevitably turns out to be an ex-special forces kickboxing champion whose interests include kicking ass and chewing gum… and who is all out of gum.

For the edification of Transatlantic media aficionados, a very British mash-up: Mod music and page 3:

OK, page 2, page 3, it was 40 years ago…

To answer Winston's question….

It is the Mirror. I wouldn't take too much notice.

Utter Drivel is too good for this.

Writer seems to have a short memory. These "Most Dangerous Game" variants have been around for a long time.
