"Minden Minis On-line Shopping Now Available" Topic

The Minden Miniatures SYW range of figures has been added to the on-line store on the Fife & Drum Miniatures web site. The Fife & Drum AWI range has previously been available for purchase on the site.

One big change is that I have added the ability to accept credit cards, in addition to PayPal, for payment. All prices on the website include shipping charges so you will not see additional shipping charges at checkout.

I'm still working on adding pictures of the painted figures specific to each product code ( for example, a command pack of infantry will have a picture of the officer, standard bearer, NCO and drummer that comprise the pack), however, each page does have color pictures of the figures included in whole battalions and this should give you an idea of what the figures look like until I can paint several hundred samples of figures, photograph them, and upload them onto the site.

As a little incentive for people to give the site and shopping cart a workout, I will add a free personality figure or mounted officer with all orders from now until June 30, 2016.

Fantastic stuff! Almost to fantastic… It will be too easy to order large quantities of figures….

That's what I'm afraid of. Those Mindens are calling my name for an Imaginations project I have been thinking about.

I have a few from before DAF bought the range, and I must say that they are a delight to paint. The casts are almost perfect.

A quick note: on my mobile devices (iPhone and iPad) I can't open the Prussian page under the Minden pull down menu, but all of the other pages open up ok. The Prussian tab works on my PC though, so you can still access the Prussians on a desktop computer. I will have to work with "my" IT folks to fix this glitch.

We have a few teething pains, but I hope to resolve them quickly.

The menu works just fine for prussians on my phone (android) So you just need to get a better phone ;)

Beautiful figures, it goes without saying. How does postage to the UK work, or can we hope that Cran Tara will have them at some stage?

International Postage: is a flat rate $10 USD regardless of the weight of the package. What I do is take the total order value and deduct the shipping component that is built into the price. To the extent that this amount exceeds $10 USD I will send you a refund for the difference via Paypal. This is a temporary expedient until I can fix the shipping charge methodology in the store.

Fritz, Just saw your other post on the painted Hessians. I am eager to see them become available on your website.

I expect to add the Hessians to the on line store by Saturday or Sunday June 25th or 26th as I will be mailing Kickstarter backers their rewards on the Saturday date.

I really like the way that these figures turned out and they were a joy to paint.

I ordered some Minden Prussian dismounted hussars in Mirlitons which I plan to paint as dismounted troopers for my Lauzun's Legion hussars in the AWI.

I foresee this development going badly for my wallet…
