Interesting. Here's a link to the product line (Fujimi) at Hobby Link Japan. All the subjects are Japanese, so no Allied opposition is available. The sets run about $20 USD each. I can't tell how many of the ship models repeat from one set to another:

Thank you for this. I have sometimes toyed with the idea building a small Japanese force and a couple of these sets would probably be all I need, especially as I am not particularly concerned about recreating specific actions.

A port could be used for a "St Nazaire" type action for a little variety.

Hobby Link Japan is a great outfit. Their catalog covers a huge selection of Japanese models, capsule toys and other ephemera, at competitive prices. They conveniently drop-ship to your USA address at very reasonable shipping charges. I often order gashopon pre-painted models from them by the 12-pack.

I suggest you keep 'em on file and browse them often for their latest listings.
