What Medieval rules would be best for the combat of 30. I have Vows of Iron, Lion Rampant, Day of Battle 2. they all use groups which would play single figure by himself for 30 vs 30 figures? |

Google 'Cry Havoc' board game. There is a scenario for the Combat of the Thirty. The rules are on line also. |

Battle Lust. Old Harn supplement – best (if over detailed) medieval skrimish rules. Lion Rampant won't work because of weird unit sturctures (easy to fix as we have but I assume you mean out of the box). TomT |

I'll second Battle Lust. We seemed to bog down when everyone was in plate armor but that may have been just us. Good detail though. |

Thanks i will look at battle lust . I played an old set many years ago called knights and knaves 10 knights vs 10 knights,in 54mm but i don't remember how it worked out and i can't find my copy of the rules |
