After yet another infamous "work sucked me under", I've emerged again…but I've moved from Indianapolis to D.C. I'd like to get back to giving painters work, but don't have any notion of who's around for 28mm fantasy, medieval and terrain. I have a number of painters I do "mail order" work with but I really like giving local providers work as well. Any thoughts out there? Here's a link to stuff I've done over the past couple years to give a hint at the style I prefer… flic.kr/s/aHsk9QBhXN flic.kr/s/aHsk9L9g4V flic.kr/s/aHsjSxGXGB flic.kr/s/aHsjRNaBnv flic.kr/s/aHsjRvUNdy Apologies to Eric at Pigmented Miniatures for not having more pics loaded of the great work he did on an army of around 300 classic Ral Partha Dwarves. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. |

@ M1Fanboy… Sounds good! I'm in the NoMa neighborhood, just north of Union Station. With my wife still in Indiana figuring out what to do with her business, it's FAR too easy to put in 12 – 14 hour days. I need to bust out of my apartment and find some folks…thanks for the invite and I'll shoot you an e-mail. |

@ Dervel… I've always had a mind to check Pictor's out at some point. I was, though, hoping to find someone I can more readily drive to. I'm in downtown D.C. and Pictor's is up almost Pittsburgh way, about 3 1/2 hours drive each way. May still end up being the deal though…thanks again. |

We are about 3.5 hours away but we do make it into the DC/Baltimore area fairly often. Also we do Historicon and the other two major HMGS shows and often go to Barrage and Williamsburg Muster. So if you feel like driving to see us there are a number of opportunities when we are in the area. |

Matt Schreck (Old Army Miniatures Painting Service) is in Westminster, MD. He does good work and is at the HMGS Cons, at the Age of Glory booth. Scott and Jamie do good stuff at Pictors Studio. NerdHerd (in NC) has recently done some really nice stuff. and Robert Brown (NC also) at friarbarb AT att.net does beautiful work. |

@ ferandopainting… Thank you for the kind offer. I personally prefer to work with US-based painters but know how happy people are with your work and will keep your service in mind for sure. |

@ Pictors Studio… If there's that possibility for doing some work together while avoiding the shipping, let's do touch base. I'll contact you guys via your website later this week. I plan to visit Historicon on Sat/Sun at the least; maybe we can take a moment there to chat. Thanks! |
